Interment Policies and Guidelines of Valencia Memorial Gardens

Valencia Memorial Gardens (VMG) remains committed to providing a dignified, organized, and respectful environment for honoring departed loved ones. To ensure smooth operations and maintain the highest standards of service and cleanliness, the management has established a comprehensive set of interment policies and guidelines effective March 1, 2024.

Commitment to Order and Excellence

All interment services at VMG are handled exclusively by the park’s authorized personnel. This ensures consistency in service quality and adherence to cemetery standards. The park operates daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with all interment activities required to be completed within this timeframe.

Scheduling and Service Requirements

Clients are required to coordinate and confirm interment schedules at least 72 hours prior to the desired date. This allows proper preparation and avoids scheduling conflicts. Interment services are limited to one per day and must take place before 3:00 PM.

Families are also advised to finalize church or mass arrangements before booking with VMG, as cemetery scheduling should be the final step in the process.

Failure to comply with the 72-hour notice requirement will result in additional charges. A rush fee will apply for interments scheduled less than three (3) days in advance, ensuring that urgent arrangements can still be accommodated efficiently.

Fees and Additional Charges

Interment costs are based on the prevailing rate at the time of service. Senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are entitled to a 20% discount in accordance with government regulations.

Additional fees include:

  • ₱4,000 surcharge for interments scheduled on weekends and holidays
  • Additional charges for late notice or rescheduling
  • A ₱3,000 fee for cancellations or changes made within 72 hours of the scheduled interment

The interment fee covers basic services such as grave digging, concrete vault installation, marker, and standard setup.

Documentation and Payment

All required documents must be submitted upon payment, including:

  • Original burial permit
  • Photocopy of the death certificate
  • Valid IDs of the lot owner and deceased
  • Authorization letter if applicable

Additionally, all memorial lots and interment plans must be fully paid before use. Special payment conditions apply to multi-lot ownership, ensuring financial compliance prior to interment.

Lot Usage and Limitations

VMG enforces clear rules regarding lot usage:

  • Double-tiered lots are limited to two interments only
  • Specific combinations of remains (fresh body, bone remains, or urns) are regulated
  • Standard casket dimensions must be followed, with customization available for an added fee

Transfers of ownership are allowed only under strict conditions and are subject to administrative fees. Furthermore, transferred lots cannot be used for interment within 30 days of transfer.

Cleanliness and Respect

Maintaining the serenity of the memorial park is a shared responsibility. Visitors and clients are expected to:

  • Dispose of waste properly
  • Avoid burning materials within the premises
  • Respect other graves and markers

Unattended items such as flowers and decorations will be removed three days after the interment, except for permanent markers.

Final Notes

All materials used during the interment ceremony, including tents, chairs, and tables, will be removed after the service. Prices and policies may also change without prior notice as part of VMG’s commitment to continuous improvement.
